Yesterday there was no open water at Birchdale. Local anglers kept the ramp plowed throughout the winter to drive to their fish houses so there won’t be much to clear away.

Does there seem to much shore ice at the ramp?
Nooo! I’m not ready yet
So if the ice is off of the forks does that mean that the chance of mud is less? If the rains stays away could this season go until the end? Maybe? Now beieve me I know its not and exact science but just currious. 
Can you tell I am coming up later vs early…….
