You couldn’t ask for a better walleye prespawn season
Between the gorgeous weather and the BIG walleye it couldn’t have been better. It reminds anglers why they make the gamble to try to catch the prime bite every year!
The season comes to a close tomorrow but we still have great pictures coming in. We’ll have a small lull but soon the sturgeon prespawn begins and we’ll be posting even bigger fish pics:) If the size of the BIG walleye is a preview,, I wonder how big the sturgeon will be! We’ll definitely post your photos.
We’d like to thank every0one for their walleye photos and updates they were great and we look forward to doing it all over again next year!
Thanks for all you do for us fisher persons with the web site and resort. Had a short day today because of a dead battery on my boat. Still managed to get a few big walleyes. A 27″ 2-27.5,2-28″,29.5 and a 31″. I caught some small fish too. I will attach a picture of the 31″. It is hard to take photos when you are alone so some didn’t turn out.
This is Troy… What you probably don’t know is that Troy has been staying with me to help with the pre spawn. Unfortunately he had to go back home this morning since his job is calling monday. Anyway he went for one last session and let’s just say it looks like it went alright. Without HIS help things would not have went as smooth as they have. I guess what I am getting at is Thanks a Million Big Boy, I really couldn’t have done it without YOU!!!
The top picture is teve’s 28″. Middle is todd’s 29″, And if you are ever going to have doubles, they might as well be these two 28″! Way to go guys!!!
