The snow is almost completely gone already, thank goodness, but so are the sturgeon it seems. The last couple days have been tough on the river between the current and the dirty water. Anglers are not finding the sturgeon biting. The wind picked up last night and continued through the day today making the water very rough.

The sturgeon season will be coming to an end this week and will reopen July 1st.

The river should clear itself out, as usual, and will be looking for small mouth bass soon. Always something different in the Rainy :)
