Sounds like we dodged a bullet in Baudette yesterday. We got tons of calls asking how much snow we got. I got to say I'm still very happy to say "none" :) The Falls got quite a bit and south of us got dumped on too, but we were snow free!
Landings remain the same. Birchdale is your plowed ramp. Frontier still has shore ice until it's cleared or breaks free. Water hasn't made Vidas landing yet. We got a report that open water extends to mile marker 141 now, so it only has about 3 miles to the Vidas landing, thanks Don!
Fishing yesterday was mixed. Some did well, some were just cold. Nobody got skunked :) in fact even groups with low numbers got to see one or two over 27". One group reported 104 walleye yesterday and 3 over 25".
We've got a couple calls asking if shops were out of bait up here. Seems that's the word going around, I checked with the Outdoors Again right in town and he assured me that other than being out of rainbows, which isn't uncommon certain times a year, he has plenty of shiners, fatheads, etc... for everyone :)
I'll have more tonight and more pics :)
Have a great day!
