It was a slow night but Erik A was happy with his 25 inch walleye! It didn't come easy either, getting caught under the ice, but he was able to maneuver it through.
This one was brought up after 5:30 pm. Many times the bite is done at dark but we had heard from anglers here and ones up by Birchdale they had been doing good for at least an hour after dark so we stayed tonight and had some luck ourselves after dark on a relatively quiet night.
Temps are expected to cool over New Years but will rebound shortly after.
