Anglers here this week are looking for small mouth bass which seem to be reportedly hugging the rock structures very close right now, within inches.

Walleye and sauger remain deeper.

Sturgeon continue to bite on walleye lures despite season opener being July 1st to keep one.

Northern are chasing the daredevils which we've been able to catch many right off the dock.

This year we seem to have a more regular rain pattern which has helped river levels for fishing and helped severely dry conditions for camp fires but has not erupted the mosquitoes.
