Fishing Reports

Saturday, May 19, 2007

Things are beginning to look alot greener around here despite the dry conditions. The Lake of the Woods is a very beautiful place in the summer and one good thing about the dry conditions is no mosquitoes! It makes fishing during the day and sitting by the fire at night very pleasant.

The water levels remain low so be careful traveling the river. Be careful when launching at Vidas, the low water leaves most the ramp exposed and it drops of quickly after it.

Northern are biting, rapulas or daredevils, of course. Seeing alot of bass boats in the bays and smallies are begining to chime in.
