The pelicans seemed to be doing better sucker fishing than we were this evening, but it was a beautiful night for trying! Nets weren't producing much, hook and line did better.

This weekend is the last weekend for sturgeon prespawn and we do have 2 cabins left. Many sturgeon were caught and released last weekend. Most remained around 50", give or take, with the Hiller party finding a 58.5". Sunday was better for the Wolfe party and the water seems to have cleared after getting a little murky last weekend. Hopefully we'll see more 60+ inchers make an appearance this weekend before the end of the season!
