I thought I was seeing things today but no it really was the sun! Yesterday was a hard day for fishing. The cold, wind and then the snow started about 2pm and that was enough for for most anglers. We only got about an inch of snow yesterday and sounds like we got pretty lucky compared to south of here. Water at the Little Fork are steady again, the Big Fork is going down and so is the level at Manitou. Cooler temps will continue the next couple days but seeing sun will make it more bearable. The stability in the forecast should help too. Next week looks good and I got my fingers crossed for good fishing too! Still waiting for Frontier to open, I'm not going to say it won't be long because quick is not the pattern this year but I'll be waiting.
