An anger sent this to us today and I just had to share and the best way to tell their story would be with their words.......

"I hooked and landed the largest fish of my life with a 62" long, 26" girth, 66lb, 35 year old sturgeon on 8lb Trilene XL. It took 2 hours to land and 1.6 miles of river. Scott also caught his biggest fish ever with a 45", 21lb, 17 year old dinosaur as well."

Thanks for sharing these with us their fantastic catches guys!

please anglers do NOT hold sturgeon by their gill covers or in a vertical position.
their weight out of water will put tremendous stress on internal organs & damage ligaments & bony structures if held improperly.
support them in a horizontal position, cradling them with your arms or supported within a large net. if really huge try to leave them in the water while being unhooked &/or taking a photo.
please spread the word & let's all do our part to release these grand fish in the most healthy manner possible.
