Last night the river opened to Manitou Rapids. Today when I got there it was well beyond! Top photo is facing west and bottom facing east. Open water reached to mile marker 163 and it's getting loose after that! Birchdale is at marker 158, Franz Jevne is 160! We're on the count down and the weekend is looking good for Birchdale!
