Franz Jevne landing was a popular place this morning. There were anglers heading both east and west. The 2nd picture is at Birchdale looking east. You can see one boat in the distance and there were a few more beyond. Seems these anglers launched at Franz Jevne and made their way through the rapids to the front of Birchdale that way. Still haven't heard of the fishing picking up just yet, but I'm thinking when anglers can finally get into the hot spots the walleye will be hungry! Water levels at the Forks have stabilized again and the level at Manitou has dropped. We have had very little rain but cooler temps.
