Even though the temp bottomed out at -27.1 below last night (zack's showing what we woke up to) and the high was -15 below today, Nick and I gave it a shot tonight anyway. We didn't expect to catch anything but found out it was the best evening bite we've seen since right after Christmas! My 1st walleye tonight was about 13". I thought it was dumb luck so I threw it back thinking it would be the only one we would see, boy was I wrong. That would be our smallest of the night! In all we had 6. Threw back the 13" and this nice 20". In our limit of 4 we kept two 15", one 17.5" and the last was 18". (More pics on the brag board). Moving the houses into about 15ft must have done the trick. We fished about a foot to a foot and a half off the bottom. Pink/white jigs had no bites at all. The yellow/white/orange were HOT!
