Phil, Brett, Jim, Jack, Maynard and Casey were nice enough to let me tag along yesterday on a fishing trip on Lake of the Woods. I got allot of great pictures you can see on the brag board. The biggest catch was 22 inches. Jim is shown here with his 21' walleye and I caught a 20" walleye. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time. Thanks guys! Today back on the river Jack caught and released a 26" walleye. Earlier in the week they pulled out that 27.5" (shown below) and a number of walleye in the 21"-25" range. In comparison from the lake to the river it looks like the larger ones are coming to the river. The shiners began to run this week so the walleye will be looking for them. Water temp on the river remains at 68 degrees. Some rain tonight and temps cooling down to lower 40's for a couple nights should help.
