Opener is finally here! After yesterday I thought today would be a complete wash, but today it didn't rain! It was cloudy and only in the 50's, but dry. Had some reports back of reeling in a couple walleyes and northern so far but it's early yet. Let us know on the comment section how your opener went, we'd love to hear! With the recent rain the river has been rising again and the water temp was back down to 49 degrees today. For opener the DNR pulled the sturgeon nets from the bay. They will be setting their nets out again on Monday and continue for a short time. We'll let you know when they're finished for the spring. Have a great weekend!
