Welcome back to the Rainy River Update. The river is busting open down to Birchdale. Historically when you see open water up river, it opens to Birchdale within 2-3 days. You can fish out of Franz Jevne now, which some prefer this area during 1st ice-out. Watch for continued updates and pictures. The first picture is the Birchdale ramp and rapids.
