Water temperature reported from anglers in camp is about 54 degrees. Today we had a mix of rain, sleet, snow and wind. Fishing was bad today, a few small walleyes caught and that's about it. Roberta is still looking for her 1st walleye this week, her catch so far was a sturgeon. Chris was catching some walleyes earlier this week. Weather forecast is for nicer weather starting tomorrow, one more day for guests this week to catch them ol 'eyes.
We have been checking the water levels of the Little Fork, Big Fork and the Manitou Rapids. There has been an increase in level with all the rain into the basin. LF is up 6", BF up 3" and the Manitou increased by 4". I have links available for these gauges. We will also report any major changes to the condition of the river.
