Now, for the bad news . . . no shiners and we are out! Last I heard, the local bait shop had shiners. Now, for the good news . . . Fishing improved greatly this week, Kazeck's party, VanWinkle's party, VandeHoef's party and Lee F. all reported good fishing. Looks like the fall run has started up the river, Pete and Terri said they have had excellent fishing out in the Gap this past week, so the walleyes are coming up. Even if shiners don't run, the walleyes still do, been there, done that in previous years.
