Fishing report for today, Rob's group said it was slow for them. Marvin Mueller with daughter Cindy and Brian S. had a great day of fishing, at an un-disclosed area. Reports that fishing was good around Frontier, from another group. Sounds like the Baudette Bay is full of shiners, so, are the minnows and the walleyes on their way? According to Rob, water temperature is 42 degrees. 50 degree days forecasted for the rest of the week with sunny skies!!

Fishing reports for Sunday was slow, slow, slow. Cindy Mueller caught more fish than the guys in her group, a total of 3 walleyes. Some think the weather is too nice, too warm yet. The fish are coming up river and anglers need to practice patience now. River fishing is "waiting" for the migrating fish. Since Birchdale has reported some good fishing, then the river is filling with walleyes. Consistent weather is also a plus this week, along with the less crowded conditions you experience on the weekends. Water temperature in the 40's. Still looking at the next 2 weeks to be some great fall fishing. You will see a decline in the number of anglers starting this week and into next week, as the first week of November most have hung up the rods for preparation of the hunting season. A late fall season is great for those who like to fish, where most think the season is over!
